borderline MUSIC

Digitally remastered and expanded two CD edition of the much sought-after self-titled 1988 album from Miami freestyle duo 'Sequal'. Widely regarded as the best album of the freestyle genre, Sequal features a stand-out collaboration with Stock Aitken Waterman on the 1988 single 'Tell Him I Called', alongside a string of club classics which epitomized the Miami sound: 'It's Not Too Late', 'She Don't Want You', 'I'm Over You' (US #11 Dance), 'Tell the Truth' (US #9 Dance), 'Brand New Love' and 'Could've Had My Love'. Production credits on the album also include electro pioneer Kurtis Mantronik and Miami legends Lewis a Martinée and Michael Morejon.

This Deluxe Edition features the original 10-track album plus the original CD and cassette bonus cut cover of Luba's 'Let It Go' and a further 18 remixes, all previously only issued on vinyl, from a virtual 'Who's Who' of late 80s pop and dance: PWL's Pete Hammond and Harding & Curnow, Justin Strauss, Ric Wake & Richie Jones, plus sought-after early work from 90s luminaries David Morales, 'Little' Louie Vega and Danny Tenaglia.
