Now let's talk music.
What a year so far! From Sia to David Bowie to Panic! At the Disco, there has been a nonstop flow of good music so far this year.
Sia's "This Is Acting" is the first album I'd like to single out in this post. This conglomeration of songs written for other artists has a kind of natural flow that only Sia could create. The feeling that this truly is a work of art doesn't affect the catchy dance-pop music we're used to hearing from Sia. Some favorites off of this album are "Broken Glass" and "Cheap Thrills;" the latter of which was originally intended for Rihanna whose new album "Anti" just came out as well.
We share with all of our fellow music fanatics in mourning the loss of David Bowie this year. He didn't leave us empty handed though -- Bowie dropped his twenty-fifth album "Blackstar" just days before passing away. Our review: a haunting, jazz influenced masterpiece documenting the emotions and thoughts of someone approaching the end of their life. A stunning final album that will go down in history as one of the best.
Some other albums we're loving so far this year (click on the artist names to be taken to their page!) -- Wet "Don't You", Panic! At the Disco "Death of a Bachelor", Elton John "Crazy Wonderful Life", and Rihanna "ANTI"!
Based on how it's already looking -- we know 2016 is going to be a great year in music! We can't wait to enjoy it with all of you!
